Zigzag Pony Braids Into Twist Braid

Still hot out, so we are keeping the hair up. This style is easy and quick, which I love for busy days!

Diagonal Braid with Twists

Sometimes a simple little thing can make a 'do just pop! This one accent braid does that for this style.

Little Miss Sass is in an awesome G.S. troop! ;) They decided to take a party bus to look at Christmas lights and then walk through the botanical gardens. Such a wonderful evening! These are a few pictures I managed to get... it was so so chilly outside that I was only able to get these couple from inside! ;)

I just did twists going back into a half-pony tail and then added her new Christmas bow. ;)

Follow Up

Okay, this post should have gone with the one from the other day about Miss Sass's bike. But here you go. ;)

This jewelry set was also a birthday gift and it was just so cute! And also so very fun! My daughter loved it!!!

Well, you might be able to tell that for yourself by the jewelry everywhere! ;) Love her face!

A Super Twisty Bun

Really wishing again that I had some way to do videos. ;) My oldest is getting better, but it's so shaky it might make someone sick. Lol. Anyway, this do turned out rather pretty and I think I'll do it again soon!

Photography Post - Afternoon at the Park

As we headed out the door to go shopping together, Miss Sass wanted "easy hair" and jeans. Lol! We headed to a boutique... unfortunately, she wasn't open for another 45 minutes. Home was on the other side of town and this park was across the street. It's a nice day... so guess what we did? ....

Twist into Messy Bun

This is kind of a fallback style for us. First, part the hair into the sections you will want.
This is the easiest way to secure the twists. Take your section and part out just a tiny piece at the end you'll be securing.
Twist the remaining part of the section and secure it with that little piece with an elastic.

You could also secure the twists with a single bobby pin pushed up through the twist and into the base of the hair. That will work best with hair of Little Miss's thickness or thicker. Okay, so this is the finished style. I didn't get many pics, but I'm sure I'll be doing it again. ;)

Who's That Girl? Part 2

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I can't seem to find the emails I got from all of you! I still want to share your pictures, though! ;) So, if one of these is yours, hollar at me and I'll update the post as I hear from you...

Twists and Clips

Okay, so blogger has changed their photo uploader... They ran a beta test of it a while back and I liked. However, I have been trying for the last three days now to create this post and the uploader keeps rotating my pictures! I tried using a separate editing software and starting from scratch then re-uploading, no go. UGH!!!! Well, I guess I just have to deal with it. :)

Moving on....
This was Little Miss's idea. She asked me to use her new clips I got on a cruise. They are something you could find about anywhere, but they came with a cute set and she thinks they are really special. ;) She asked me to put twists in and showed me all the places she wanted them. I adjusted her concept a tad, but mainly used what she asked for. ;)

Fancy Updo

My friend, Sarah, is going to start pageants with her little girl. Her princess is 2 and has rather thin hair. However, they don't want to use hair pieces or wigs, etc. Sarah asked me to come up with something that would look good on stage...

Twist Into Bun ~ Ballet Beautiful

This is a style I know I've done several times, but it is a favorite for dance.... on that note, I feel like I should mention that Miss Sass takes dance 3 days a week, hence all the dance styles and leos. ;)

Heart to Heart

This is about the easiest 'do, but it is fun and looks cute! ;) Plus you can adjust the size and placement for different hair types/ages/etc.

Princess Jasmine Hair

This was a really simple style that my niece, aka The Diva ;), asked for. The pictures are pretty self-explanatory, so I'm not adding any instructions. Okay, maybe just a tip ;) ... we just tucked the ribbon in to the elastics. Easy peasy!

Orchid Clips

This style is a little out of order... I actually did this one right after Sis got sick the first time. It is simple and quick. Btw, she picked out and planted the flowers all by herself! ;)
I had made some new purple orchid clips and desperately wanted to use them! ;) I simply twisted the hair and then clipped it out of the way. I did the same thing with a piece of hair just behind it. It really was pretty. I had wanted to leave the other side down, but Sis added the other flower and I didn't argue.
Lol, my goofy girl gave us all kinds of looks that day! The last one is of course my favorite! ;)

Red Villa Headband

Don't know if anyone will love this headband as much as me, but I was just pleased as punch! ;)
I made this to match a new outfit of Sis's from the Red Villa Baby Gap line. There's a funky and simple style here too...

My Favorite Style... on an adult ;)

Finally back online after the cruise... Holidays can be so crazy! ;) Anyway, this is my go-to style when I can't think of anything else. And I found that it looks very nice on adults also. But first, here is a sunset shot I took from the ship...
Okay, so french twist braids from each side and then pulled together in back.
I started the braids just above her ears and continued them back. When I got to the back area, I stopped doing a french twist and just continued with a regular twist braid. I had her hold that while I did the other side and then I pulled them together in the middle.
I think this looked so nice! ;) A very sleek style. I loved it with her straightened hair.
Okay, so glad to be back! I have tons of new things going up in my Etsy shop. Bows make great stocking stuffers. ;) Also, I'll have one last giveaway for the year coming next week! Miss all of you, blog family! ;)

Mixed up braids & Three Little Piggies

Sis asked me for something really fancy today, so I just took my time on this one. Actually, I had no clear idea of what I was doing until about half-way through. ;) Well, this is how it started...
