Ginny Weasley - Spirit Day

This is a style that I never shared last spring. We are huge Harry Potter fans around here, so when the kids were told to dress as their favorite book character for spirit week Miss Sass knew exactly who she wanted to be!

Little Miss had her hair in big twists the day before and we liked how smooth, but full her hair was after, so we just left it. We added a little row of pony braids at the top to hold her bangs back and then pulled all the hair into a low side ponytail.
She wore her Hogwarts cape, but chose to skip the hat because her hair was so "perfect".

This 'do could of course be pulled off by Muggles as well. :)

Who would your child choose for favorite book character?

Zigzag Pony Braids Into Twist Braid

Still hot out, so we are keeping the hair up. This style is easy and quick, which I love for busy days!

Step Ponies Into Messy Bun

This is a pretty simple style that we have done before. School year means just about all of the styles we do are simple and quick. ;)

Simple Step Ponies

This is a fun and easy do that works great for babies and toddlers, but looks cute on big girls too. I simply start with her natural part and them make little sections. Starting in the middle/front I work my way back securing each section with an elastic and adding the hair from the one before. Easy peasy!
The rest of these pics are just for fun. I noticed how big my little girl looks in these! ;)

Side Baby Gaga Bow & A New Tank

So there are two parts to this post... First, a new hairdo. We did a super-simple side pony into a bow made out of hair. This is really cute and fun. I hope you all like it! ;)

Pony-Braid Piggies

Before we get to today's do I wanted to say a quick thank you to all who responded to the free bow offer. I am processing emails and comments and I will get with each of you as quickly as possible! I look forward to working with you!

Today's style is a continuation of yesterday's. This was done on her actual birthday. I just have the pictures I snapped while she was opening her present from Mommy & Daddy. ;)
We left in the top/front from yesterday's do and took the pony and 3 small ponies out of the back.

Simple Ponies Into A Pony

To start, part out the bottom of the back and get the rest out of the way.

Heart to Heart

This is about the easiest 'do, but it is fun and looks cute! ;) Plus you can adjust the size and placement for different hair types/ages/etc.

Another Day, Another 'Do

Today's style is a continuation of yesterday's braids. I left them in and added to it. ;)
The back might look complicated, but it is pretty simple....

Overlapping Angled Puff Braids

Before we get started with today's 'do, I want to say thanks to everyone who has entered the giveaway. Your comments are very sweet and greatly appreciated! For those who emailed or are planning to email me pics: I had asked for you to share your hairstyles for an extra entry... I am planning to put these photos in a future post. If you would like yours left out, please just let me know. ;)

If you haven't entered the giveaway yet, check here for more details. Thanks again to everyone for your support! I was thrilled to see that I have 99 wonderful people following my blog, WOW! ;)

Right, now on to the hair...
This is my new favorite style. I have done pigtails, a low ponytail, 1/2 up, and this one. I think this time looked the best, but I'll list some more with this basic idea. I just love the way it looks! ;)
This is a VERY simple style to do; it just looks a little more complex....

Fireworks Hair

Extra post today... I realized I better get this out right away if you all were going to see it before the 4th. ;)
Sis asked me for fireworks hair and this is what I came up with...

Twist and back and twist and back... piggies;)

This one turned out so super cute! ;) I think I may do this for her upcoming bday... I think it is one of the cutest I've done and Sis just loves wearing "parkles" and her candy bows, so this was a win-win;)

Zigzag headband and a messy ponytail

Okay, before you say anything, yes! I totally cheated and used this same picture on my other blog today. You just get to enjoy it twice:)

5-in-1, are you ready for this? :)

We survived! :) Sis is feeling much better after her little sick week. She is still on antibiotics and cough syrup with codeine(that's right, the good stuff:) It actually helps a ton, but she cannot stand the taste! Anyway, we are back online and happy to say nobody else is sick!
Okay, so this is pretty simple, just a bunch of twists all over her head. You can do fewer if you like, but I just love this look on my little girl!

Bounce!

This one came out pretty cute, but not quite what I was going for. This was an easter pre-run. Well, it is still a cute everyday do. There are two styles in this post. I started with this one...Hope you don't need directions; it was pretty simple. (Sorry the pics are so dark!)
But, she got a cute little "boof" in the back with all that extra hair gathered on top!
For the style at the top, I just grabbed all that extra hair and put it in a super-high ponytail.
And now for some cheese:)

Twirls

I found a couple of older pictures and decided to post them. The pony-braids I have shown before, but this is a better picture. And I love the one with just the clip! I think this is a very pretty look.

For the last two photos: I fixed Sis's hair for a special Sunday when family was in town. It looked so pretty. I parted her hair then twisted and pulled those pieces back. I secured them with a flower clip.
